Abstract
Having studied zoology and small animal ecology in Elmira College and Boston University, respectively, Ms. Larson held various positions in research laboratories in both industry and at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She joined the U. S. Department of Agriculture, National Agricultural Library (NAL) in 1981 as an indexer for AGRICOLA database. In 1986 she moved to the Information Center Branch of NAL and subsequently became Coordinator of the Animal Welfare Information Center, one of seven centers within the NAL branch.
