Abstract
This dissertation contains three independent chapters in the field of transportation, energy and supply chain finance Economics. The first paper applies an ordered probit model to examine how the availability of commercial truck parking potentially affects the injury severity of commercial vehicle drivers normalized for other driving-related and environmental factors. The second paper aims to identify the impacts on retail electricity price after retail electricity market restructured in the United States. The third paper aims to identify the impacts on customers’ financial performance with supplier diversification.
