Abstract
Anak Dara is an installation that explores the idea of home and familial traditions being passed down through the concept of materiality, new media art and performance. The objective of this body of work is to reflect on the healing qualities objects have from our culture, how they can signify home and make us feel closer to it; and bridge the gap of what gets lost through migration and time.
