Abstract
"Creating a New Course at Washington State University: Geography of the Palouse" explores the process, context, and rationale for creating an undergraduate interdisciplinary general education course. To generate a syllabus the typical curriculum, applications, and values of landscape architecture, place-based education, and citizenship education were researched along with the Washington State University Commons Requirements to designate an "Inquiry in the Humanities" course.
