Statement of Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify, review, and synthesize current stakeholder perspectives of quality as found in evidence-based, peer-reviewed and professional literature that pertains specifically to hospitalized children in the United States. What exactly are the current national and professionally-established quality identifiers in acute pediatric healthcare, per U.S. biomedical literature and government, payer, and advocacy initiatives that address quality healthcare for hospitalized children? And whose perspectives are represented?
