Abstract
This thesis discusses the work on display in the Master of Fine Arts Exhibition in the Museum of Art at Washington State University. This body of work examines the desire to build the perfect home while it simultaneously falls apart through drawings, a video, ceramic sculptures, and an installation constructed from trash.
