Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine if the strategy of integrating Evidence-based Practice (EBP) into a gerontological nursing course positively affected student beliefs about the use of EBP methodology to improve clinical care. Data Sources: Data from a convenience sample of 111 Junior year, first-semester, Bachelor of Science in Nursing students were analyzed using SPSS 14.0. Student beliefs were measured before and after infusing EBP into core curriculum of a gerontology course. Conclusions and Implications for Practice: Positive findings encourage nursing educators to infuse EDP into course curriculum to improve student knowledge and values of EDP related to outcomes of care for older adults.
