Abstract
Through this body of work, I explore different modes of photographic representation and how the landscape is physically presented in various digital forms. This work is a continual exploration of one's perception of space and place through the layering of visual and digital information. This layering is a stand-in, or a metaphor for the trace that humanity leaves on nature. By utilizing photographs and mixed media, the work contemplates how humans have impacted the natural landscape through artifacts left behind and their modification of the physical terrain.
