Abstract
The focus of the research was to design, fabricate, and test a micro heat engine which is a fundamental component comprising a P3 Micro Power System. This external combustion engine converts thermal energy into mechanical energy. The mechanical energy produced is then transformed into electrical energy through the use of a thin-film piezoelectric membrane generator.
