Abstract
Primal Screaming with Friends is a series that embodies the tumultuous state of the nervous seeker. This work explores the confusion that erupts in the space between profound unknowing and the hope for transcendent intervention. By creating a dialogic reply to new-age cosmologies, drug-induced states, and religious thinking, I hope to address the dismal failures and persistence of utopic visions in the face of mounting social collapse. I also make this work in hopes of celebrating how weird this lovely universe becomes through the lens of the human experience.
