Sexual abuse has become a widely studied phenomena. Health professionals have only just started to research sexual abuse in regards to its effect on spirituality. Tllis paper argues that focusing on spiritual health can bring about changes in a sense of life purposes, self-awareness and connectedness with others. The purpose of this psychophenomenological study is to gain insight and understanding of the spiritual beliefs of sexually abused adolescents.
