Abstract
Some moments seem more significant than others even though by rational standards they are just ordinary moments. I tend to daydream, and sometimes my inner thoughts comingle with or project onto my external physical world. When this happens connections are made between things that are not directly related. A physical form stands in for an intangible idea. My work often begins with the dominant object from those daydreams, whether it is a fork or a bird, and that becomes my image. It carries with it whatever meaning I find in that moment.
