Abstract
In Walking On, an installation of found objects, paintings, ceramic sculpture, wooden structures, and poetic text, the viewer is presented with the opportunity to use bodily modes of walking, looking, and finding to freely observe disregarded objects and spaces in our daily environments, participating in a conversation around noticing and acknowledging. The intention of this body of work is to imaginatively question the value of articles of trash, opening up the possibility to question the complicity of producers and consumers on a personal level.
