Abstract
In analyzing modern presidents, Smith seems to imply that if his subjects were actually living their Christian faith with consistency (all of his subjects claimed to be Christian), they would be anti-abortion and anti-gay rights. Smith does not seem to recognize that to be pro-choice or pro-gay rights might also be a valid expression of Christian faith.
