Abstract
Its purpose is to recruit young people who might not otherwise consider college, offer them generous financial-aid packages, and give them counseling. tutoring, and lots of encouragement. The program takes the students, all of whom are legal U.S. citizens. only through their freshman year. However. most of them return to their campuses the following year. with the help of federal and college financial-aid packages.
