Abstract
llf'heEducation First (EF) Standard I English Test (SET) or, simply put, EFSET (https://www.elset.org) is a standardised computer-adaptive English language proficiency test. With a stated mission to change the status quo, EFSEThas been designed to serve as a free online reliable measure to assess non-native English speakers' language skills in a similar manner to that of other commercial tests in the field, such as Test of English as a Foreign Language (fOEFL) and International English Language Testing System (IELTS). Likewise, the test provides the test takers with a certificate which can be accepted by institutions as an indicator of one's English language proficiency. EFSET is delivered in two online formats: Quick and Certificate.
