Abstract

Open educational resources Academic publishing Academic Libraries
In October 2016, Erin Hvizdak and Gabriella Reznowski put on a display at WSU Libraries that used Halloween tropes to satirize problems in academic publishing and to present open educational resources (OERs) as potential alternatives to costly commercial texts. For more information, see: https://news.wsu.edu/2016/10/17/death-textbook-highlights-open-educational-resources/.
