Abstract
Hundreds of these public pamphlets were distributed to individuals visiting our 11 years of summer field schools at the Qwu?gwes archaeological site. We produced them with our project partners, the Squaxin Island Tribe, and the public knew they were invited to visit the project located on Long-time WA Secretary of State Ralph Munro and family's property on Eld Inlet, Olympia, WA. Every summer Ralph would announce in the Olympian Newspaper an Open House for visitors and we would tour well over a hundred people each time. The Squaxin Island Tribe was building a beautiful museum at the time we conducted the archaeological project (1999-2009) and all our Qwu?gwes artifacts are house there--well worth a visit to this tribal museum to see the artifacts and their wonderful Squaxin heritage exhibits. The pamphlet shows the address in Kamilche, Washington. Google Squaxin Museum for directions.
