Abstract
This flier describes the mission and goals of the Northwest Advanced Renewables Alliance. The flier notes, "As part of a national effort, the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) awarded two $40 million grants in fall 2011 to develop a sustainable wood to bioproducts and biofuels industry in the Pacific Northwest. These awards created two organizations--NARA (Northwest Advanced Renewables Alliance) and AHB (Advanced Hardwood Biofuels Northwest); both are collaborations between universities, government, and industry."
