Abstract

This publication is on-line only. Washington State is the nation's second leading producer of peppermint oil. This study was undertaken to estimate the 2001 costs of establishing and producing peppermint grown under rill and center pivot irrigation, and peppermint prices required for an economically viable enterprise. The data do not represent a particular farm. They represent costs under the assumption adopted for the study. 30 pages.
