This enterprise budget provides cost estimates for establishing and producing irrigated alfalfa in the Columbia Basin of Washington as of 2012. It includes an enterprise budget of the costs of the equipment, materials, supplies, custom operations, and labor required to establish and produce alfalfa under center pivot irrigation, and can be used by growers to evaluate the production and market risk of alfalfa production.
