Abstract

Bird attracting. Birds of prey. Rodents--Control.
Attracting hawks, owls, kestrels, falcons, and other birds of prey is a good way to control rodents in agricultural areas without using chemical pesticides. This bulletin discusses ways to attract these birds, including perch and nest sites, nest boxes, and other tips. Also includes detailed diagrams for building owl and kestrel nest boxes. 2 pages.
