Abstract

This weed flourishes in many crops, including forages, cereals, mint, berries, and row crops, ornamentals, and vegetables. The plant is toxic to livestock, especially cattle, where it causes irreversible liver damage and death. Color photos of plants and yellow flowers aid in identification. Discussion includes cultural, biological, and chemical controls. 4 pages.
