Abstract
Accurate descriptions of export trends are needed so industry representatives, analysts, policymakers, and business owners can properly assess market conditions.This fact sheet provides data on manufactured and processed agricultural exports from Washington State to foreign markets for several large industries, including aerospace and fruit and vegetable preserves. Unlike other export data sources, the data here can be used to compare export changes over time.This is the fifth edition of an annual series. New material includes 2011 export data and a figure showing how export concentration is trending over time. The data show Washington exported more in 2011 than any year since 2002.
