Abstract
Guidelines for developing Best Management Practices (BMP) on agricultural land in Washington were developed in the 1970s following section 208 of the Clean Water Act. Surface and groundwater defined. Structures, cultural practices, and management of inputs are discussed as they relate to groundwater protection. 4 pages.
