Abstract

This common disease in moist climates becomes a serious pest for tomatoes and cucumbers in greenhouses, for field-raised green beans, strawberries, raspberries, in western Washington; and for ornamentals and onions in eastern Washington. The fungus, Botrytis cinerea, is the attacking organism. Full color photographs show this distinctive infection. Discusses control. Pesticides listed were registered at the time of printing.
