Abstract
An aid for assessing the risk of groundwater contamination from animal manure storage. Drinking water that has nitrate concentrations greater than state or federal regulations can cause health problems for people and animals. This detailed worksheet goes step-by-step through animal manure storage practices so that animal/dairy producers can rank the effects that their practices may have on their drinking water quality. Includes a glossary of terms. 8 pages.
