Abstract
This bulletin explains the causes of bee poisoning, describes symptoms, and outlines important preventive steps for pesticide applicators, growers, and beekeepers. Toxicity tables list insecticides, acaricides, fungicides, plant growth regulators, and thinning agents with the length of their residual toxic effect for bees. Time of day and bloom stage restrictions are included. Some of the pesticides listed have been discontinued. They are included for comparison of toxicity. Revised by Dan Mayer in 1999. 16 pages.
