Abstract

Introduced from Europe, the jointed goatgrass (Aegilops cylindrica) is a winter annual grass that infests wheat, grasslands, roadsides, and open range. Absent proper methods, contaminated equipment, clothing, and infested seed are major factors in its spread. 4 pages.
