The lily leaf beetle (LLB) was recently discovered in King County, Washington State, infesting landscaped lily plants. LLB is a highly destructive pest of cultivated lilies and can also infest native herbaceous plants of related species. The following description and life cycle information will inform gardeners and professional landscapers on the newly introduced problem. Directions on reporting new infestations are given.
