Pockets of unsprayed "backyard" fruit trees have become a threat to the commercial apple industry in the Pacific Northwest. Many homeowner tree fruit sprays have been removed from the market. By using sticky traps, learning to recognize apple maggots, and using other management strategies, homeowners can help protect their own trees and the apple industry. 8 pages.
