Abstract
The attached comprise two versions of a report on a survey conducted in San Juan County, Utah, in 2009. The initial version of the report was completed and submitted to the Bureau of Land Management in December 2011. An expanded version of the report, completed in June 2012, is also included here. This report describes a surface survey and mapping that were carried out in late August and early September, 2009 at three sites on Cedar Mesa in San Juan County, Utah: 42Sa18431 (Et Al site); 42Sa24584 (Owen site); and 42Sa28203 (HST site). The work was done under the direction of R.G.Matson and William Lipe, with assistance from Jesse Morin, Ryan Dickie, Susan Matson, and for part of the field session, Steve Daniel. It was supported by Grant No. 410-2008-1677 to R.G. Matson from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
