Ron Jirava and his father, Wayne raise annual spring crops continuously on 1,200 acres near Ritzville, and another 1,500 acres near Lind, Washington, using direct seeding. Ron is hosting a WSU trial of diverse annual-crop rotations under direct seeding. The Jiravas offer their experiences growing spring wheat, spring barley, Canola, and mustard in rotation.
