Application, summary and data from the July, 1979 application for Rural Clean Water Program Assistance as submitted to the Soil and Conservation Service Washington D.C.
"The Washington State Rural Clean Water Coordinating Committee held five public meetings in May to obtain the views of the local agencies and potential participants on areas for which project applications should be developed. Based upon the response and suggestions of the farming community, the committee selected the Newaukum Creek, King County and the South Fork Palouse, Whitman County (a portion of the project is in Latah Country, Idaho) as two project areas."
