Abstract
The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) and the Migrant High School Equivalency Program (HEP) provide Federal financial assistance to projects designed to help migrant and other.seasonal farmworkers complete their secondary education and first year of college. This report describes CAMP and HEP projects and gives a short legislative and appropriations history. It presents findings from a recent study about student characteristics and outcomes. It also discusses President Reagan's proposal to terminate the programs.
