Abstract
The notable site feature is a 17m semi-circular berm emplaced in a shallow swale, creating an enclosed flat interior 7m across. Architectural features on the west side of the berm are upright slab construction, with some jacal present. Midden areas on the east side of the berm include Tusayan and Mesa Verde ceramic types including Black Mesa and Sosi B/w; Mancos, McElmo, and Mesa Verde B/w; Tusayan B/r and Citadel Polychrome; and corresponding corrugated types. This inventory indicates a late Pueblo II site use with strong Kayenta and Mesa Verde tradition influences. Site attributes suggest a communal or ritual location and function.
