Abstract

Written as a practical guide for woodland owners interested in fish and wildlife management. Improving the habitat of a pond or stream for trout offers a project with appeal for many. Information on northwest species, water temperature and alkalinity, ponds, stocking, hiding cover, and feeding are offered by Jim Griggs, Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. Cooperators for the Woodland Fish and Wildlife Project include state and federal agencies in Washington and Oregon. 6 pages.
