Abstract
The electrification of our transportation system is accelerating rapidly along the West Coast and across the nation. Historic investments by federal and state agencies, combined with forward-looking policies to address climate change, economic development, and resilience, are driving this transformation. This update celebrates the growing momentum in Washington to use zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) and alternative fuels in public fleets. With many successes to share, we appreciate this opportunity to describe the steps the Green Transportation Program (GTP) is taking to support this transition to clean transportation.
